Our Minibus
As a result of much fundraising, and the generosity of local companies, individuals and the Community Fund, the Club was able to commission this purpose-built minibus for its members and also for use by other local Community groups.
About Phab
Thames Valley PHAB is now over twenty-five years old, having been formed in the 'Year of the Disabled' by a group who felt the disabled people and their friends should have a club where they could meet and enjoy an ordinary social life. We were affiliated to the National PHAB organisation in February 1982.
The Club has approximately sixty members with about half being disabled. Its regular get-together is on Wednesday evenings, but many other activities and outings are organised during the year.
Following a lot of hard work and much fund-raising, the Club has purchased a state-of-the-art minibus. It is wheelchair accessible so that we can offer lifts to and from Club evenings for members in the Wycombe area who do not have their own transport.
